2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire Schedule Released

December 14, 2013- Stouffville, Ontario- After much anticipation, the 2013 Nascar Canadian Tire Schedule is out and has brought back some familiar tracks, some new dates and an historic event.

A track that the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series teams have not visited since 2010 is back on the schedule; the oval of Autodrome St Eustache, just north of Montreal Quebec. A new date on the schedule will be for the annual trek eastward to Riverside Speedway in Antigonish Nova Scotia which will see the teams in Nova Scotia in August in 2013.  The Grand Prix de Trois Rivieres will also move to August 11, 2013.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will open their season on the road course at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, but will also return on Labor Day weekend when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will make their historic Canadian debut at the 2.5 mile road course.

Jason Hathaway, driver of the #3 Snap-on Tools/ Rockstar Energy Drink/Vortex Brake Pads Dodge is excited about the new schedule. “The addition of the race at St. Eustache will be exciting and the fans there are always a lot of fun. They sure love the Nascar Series!  The addition of the Camping World Truck Series coming to Canada for the first time is pretty awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few Canadian NASCAR Drivers in that race. Delaware Speedway and Motoplex in B.C. are great events for us and we are looking forward to getting the 2013 season underway.”
