Stouffville, ON – July 28th,2025 – 19-year-old Ottawa native, Connor Bell made an unforgettable entrance into the NASCAR Canada Series this past weekend in the #3 Dymon Foundations/Eastrock Equipment/Nepean Building Chevrolet. He captured victory in his debut race with Ed Hakonson Racing at Calabogie Motorsports Park—his hometown track and history in the NASCAR Canada Series.
Bell kicked off the weekend with a strong showing, finishing 8th in the opening practice session before setting the fastest time in final practice. He continued to impress in qualifying, securing a 5th-place starting position for Sunday’s main event.
Despite an early setback due to a pit road speeding penalty, Bell and the #3 team remained composed. With quick, strategic pit stops and consistent pace, Bell clawed his way back through the field. In the closing laps, he took the lead and never looked back. His first win in the NASCAR Canada Series and the inaugural race at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
Bell said “I couldn’t have asked for a better team to run my first NASCAR Canada race with. The boys and girls at EHR did an unbelievable job all weekend long giving me a fast and reliable car, along with excellent calls on the box to give us a shot at the win late in the race. It takes a village to get these things done and to pull off a win on my debut race is an incredible feeling, something I’ll cherish for a long time to come. This one was for Ed. Let’s do it again!”
The win marks a major milestone for Bell, who has quickly established himself as a rising star in Canadian motorsports and will hopefully be back racing with the series soon.
