FORTIN MAKES NASCAR CANADA SERIES DEBUT AT GP3R

Stouffville, ON – August 13, 2025 – Rookie driver Alex Fortin made his debut in the #3 Bumper to Bumper/HGC/Choko Authentic Chevrolet in the NASCAR Canada Series event this past weekend at the prestigious Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières.

Fortin, who has built a strong reputation in the SPC Series, was eager to take on the challenge of piloting a stock car for the first time on one of Canada’s most iconic racing weekends. The rookie showed steady progress during the event, finishing final practice in 20th position as he adapted to the car and track conditions.

When the green flag waved on race day, Fortin started from the 20th spot and quickly found his rhythm. By mid-race, he had worked his way into the top 15, demonstrating skill, patience, and a clear ability to compete with seasoned NASCAR Canada Series drivers. Unfortunately, his promising run was cut short after contact from behind forced him out of the race early.

Alex said “It was an incredible first experience in the series, and I’m grateful to have worked with such a passionate and experienced team. Proud of our performance, even if the finish left a bittersweet taste!”
