(August 13, 2024) Jason Hathaway, behind the wheel of the #3 Assa Abloy
Chevrolet, made his much-anticipated return to the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières
(GP3R) in the NASCAR Canada Series this past Sunday. Despite it being his
first-time racing at the iconic street circuit since 2019, Hathaway quickly
adapted. However, an untimely incident late in the race ended his run
prematurely.
Hathaway and the #3 Assa Abloy Chevrolet team worked diligently to improve
the car’s performance from practice, and their efforts paid off during qualifying,
where Hathaway secured the 12th starting position. As the green flag waved for
the scheduled 60-lap race, Hathaway wasted no time moving forward, settling
into the top ten.
Comfortably running among the frontrunners, Hathaway continued to push
hard, eyeing further gains in position as the laps ticked down. Unfortunately, in
the closing stages of the race, a late caution bunched up the field, setting up a
crucial restart. It was following this restart that Hathaway’s race took a turn for

the worse, as he had contact with the wall causing significant damage to the #3
Assa Abloy Chevrolet and forcing Hathaway to retire from the race before
reaching the checkered flag.
Quote: “It’s disappointing to end the day like this, especially after the team put
in so much effort to get us into the top ten,” Hathaway said after the race. “We
had a strong car, and I felt right at home on the track despite the time away.
The contact so late in the race was unfortunate, and it’s tough to swallow, but
that’s racing. We’ll regroup and come back stronger next week at Delaware.” –

HATHAWAY AND E.H.R. TEAM BATTLE ADVERSITY IN EDMONTON
(July 29, 2024) Jason Hathaway, driver of the #3 Assa Abloy Chevrolet,
showcased his resilience and determination at round eight of the NASCAR
Canada Series this past Saturday at Edmonton International Raceway. Despite
his strong record of performance at the 1/4-mile track, Hathaway faced a series
of challenges that hampered his finishing result.
During practice, the #3 car demonstrated solid performance, but a difficult
qualifying run saw Hathaway lining up 10th for the start of the 300-lap race. The
race ran under green flag conditions up to the scheduled mid-race break, but
misfortune struck just before the break as Hathaway suffered a flat tire, forcing
him to pit under green.
After the planned break, Hathaway returned to the track determined to salvage
as much as he could. Unfortunately, bad luck struck again in the second half of
the race with another flat tire, ultimately forcing Hathaway to settle for an 11th
place finish.

Despite these setbacks, Hathaway remains in fifth place in the overall
championship standings.
Quote: “Wish we could have put on a better show in front of this great crowd.
We were decent at the start and I was hoping to hang on until the break and
make some adjustments and we’d be set for the second half. That flat tire
before the break put us back and then it was do what you can. Some really bad
luck getting a second flat. It’s too bad, this is a racy little track and was fun to
battle when we could. Thanks to all the fans for coming out”. -Jason Hathaway,
