Danny Chisholm Battles Through to Claim Top Rookie Honours at the Clarington 200

Stouffville, ON (May 26, 2025) — It was a race weekend full of challenges and triumphs for 20-year-old Danny Chisholm as he returned to the track for the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with Ed Hakonson Racing.

After showing solid pace in practice with a P7 result, Chisholm encountered a setback in qualifying due to a flat tire, forcing him to start from the back of the pack. Undeterred, the young driver charged through the field with determination and composure, ultimately finishing P10 and earning the title of Top Rookie of the Race.

“I’m proud of how we fought back after qualifying. Big thanks to everyone at Ed Hakonson Racing and our supporters at Jani-King for making this weekend possible,” said Chisholm. “I’m hoping to be back for more NASCAR Canada Series races this season — we’ve got more to show.”

Stay tuned for more updates as Chisholm looks to continue building momentum in the 2025 season.
