Stouffville, Ontario- July 30, 2021– The 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season will see a familiar driver with Team 3 Red/Ed Hakonson Racing stable in the #92 Bully’s Truck Stop Chevrolet. Dexter Stacey will be returning to the NASCAR Pinty’s series for a second year with Team 3 Red/Ed Hakonson Racing.
The Kahnawake, Quebec driver started racing go karts at the age of 4 and then moved up to dirt modifieds at the age of 8. Stacey made his NASCAR debut in 2009 in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series racing with his family team.
Starting in 2012, he started racing south of the border in NASCAR Xfinity Series with 25 starts, and 2 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Stacey has 51 starts in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
Stacey’s effort will have the support of Bully’s Truckstop, ECONO and E.S.I Rail Ltd. for the entire 2021 NPS schedule.
Stacey said “I am excited to be back in the Nascar Pinty’s series racing a full season with Team 3 Red/Ed Hakonson Racing. This will be one of my best opportunities to showcase my talents in Nascar Canada.”
The NASCAR Pinty’s Series 2021 schedule will see 11 events at 8 different tracks, featuring both oval and road course configurations. The season will kick off at Sunset Speedway on August 1st, 2021.
