HATHAWAY RETURNS TO THE NASCAR CANADA SERIES FOR 2025

Stouffville, ON – May 15, 2025 – Veteran driver and 2020 NASCAR Canada Series Champion Jason Hathaway is set to return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this weekend. Hathaway will pilot the #3 Leland Industries/Sangsin Brake Chevrolet for Ed Hakonson Racing.

The season opener, the Clarington 200, will run on May 18 in Bowmanville, Ontario. This marks Hathaway’s first race of NASCAR Canada Series season, reigniting his competitive spirit on the renowned 2.459-mile road course.

“I’m thrilled to be back behind the wheel with the support of Sangsin Brake and Leland Industries,” said Hathaway. “CTMP has always been a special place for me, and I can’t wait to get back on track and compete at the highest level.”

Hathaway’s return follows a successful 2024 season, where he secured multiple podium finishes, including two second-place results at Riverside International Speedway. His experience and skill make him a formidable contender in the series.

Fans can look forward to seeing Hathaway compete in additional select races throughout the 2025 season. For more information on race schedules and team updates, visit www.edhakonsonracing.com and follow on social media Facebook Ed Hakonson Racing and Instagram, @ehrt3r.
