Rookie Connor Bell Takes on his first ever Oval Race

June 10th – Stouffville, ON – Connor Bell took on a new challenge this past weekend in the #8 Dymon Storage, Choko Authentics Chevrolet. He made his first ever oval race start at Autodrome Chaudière during the NASCAR Canada Series double header weekend.

The weekend brought difficult weather conditions, as both practice and qualifying sessions were rained out, leaving Bell and the team with little track time heading into the race. As a result, Bell started the Bud Light 125 from the 14th position.

Despite the limited on track preparation, Bell focused on running consistent laps and gaining experience throughout the event. He kept the car clean, stayed out of trouble, and crossed the finish line in 11th place while learning valuable lessons along the way in his oval racing debut.

Following the opening race, the team worked hard, adjusting the car for the Michelob Ultra 125. Bell rolled off from 12th position and once again delivered a smooth and disciplined performance, bringing home an 11th-place finish with some contact, while keeping the car clean throughout the event.

“It was a great learning weekend for me,” said Bell. “Oval racing is completely different from what I’m used to, but the team gave me a great car all weekend and helped me improve every time I hit the track. To come away with a clean finish and a lot of experience is something we’re proud of.”

Fans can catch Connor Bell and the No. 8 in action June 27th, as the NASCAR Canada Series heads east at Riverside International Speedway

June 9th – Stouffville, ON – Autodrome Chaudière hosted a challenging doubleheader weekend for Alex Tagliani and the No. 3 Olymel, Wurth, Ureco Chevrolet as weather delays and on-track adversity tested the team throughout both NASCAR Canada Series events.

The weekend began with rain washing out both practice and qualifying sessions, forcing the schedule to shift and both races pushed to Sunday.

After showing strong pace early in the race, the No. 3 machine was unfortunately caught in a mid-race collision that resulted in a broken tie rod and an unscheduled trip to pit road. With the setback, Tagliani finished the race 17th place finish.

Later in the day, the team returned for the Michelob Ultra 125. Starting from the middle of the pack, Tagliani fought hard throughout the event, but once again with a late race engine miss fire affected the results and brought home a 17th-place result.

Although the results did not reflect the speed and effort of the team, the resilience of Tagliani and the crew as they battled through difficult circumstances all weekend long.

MAY 19TH – [Stouffville, ON] Dexter Stacey and the #8 Bully Truck Stop, Cloud V, HGC Camaro team kicked off the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series season this past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with a hard-fought performance in the season-opening event.

The weekend began with some challenges during practice as the team worked to find the right balance in the #8 Camaro. After battling power issues throughout the session, Stacey ended final practice in the 18th position. The team continued to make adjustments heading into qualifying, where Stacey secured the 21st starting spot for the CarGurus 200.

When the green flag dropped on race day, Stacey quickly began working his way through the field. Strong pit stops and steady progress throughout the event allowed the veteran driver to climb into the top 10 and contend with some of the series’ top competitors.

Late in the race, Stacey’s momentum was interrupted after being caught up in a multi-car incident that resulted in significant front-end damage to the #8 Bully Truck Stop, Cloud V, HGC Camaro. Despite the damage, Stacey and the team battled through the closing laps and were able to salvage a respectable 13th-place finish to open the season.

“We struggled from the beginning but the way these new tires come around and the pit strategy the EHR team put together made our race a full game changer to put us in contention for a podium until fellow drivers ran out of talent” said Stacey

Stouffville, ON – September 17, 2025 – Local driver Connor Pritiko made an impressive debut in the NASCAR Canada Series this past weekend at his home track, Delaware Speedway, piloting the #3 APC/H&N Roofing/Glencoe Auto Recyclers Chevrolet. The highly anticipated debut came during a doubleheader weekend featuring the APC 125 and NTN 125 races.

Pritiko kicked off the weekend strong, placing 6th in practice before the team made key adjustments to improve performance. In qualifying, he secured a solid 4th-place starting position for the APC 125. Battling side-by-side with veteran drivers throughout the race, Pritiko gained valuable experience in his first NASCAR Canada Series event and crossed the finish line in 5th place.

Carrying momentum into the second feature of the weekend, the NTN 125, the #3 team once again made adjustments to dial in the car. Pritiko started the race from 5th position and fought hard through the field, ultimately finishing 6th to cap off a strong debut weekend.

Pritiko said “This weekend was a dream come true to complete in the NASCAR Canada Series at my home track, it’s super cool to be racing against a lot of the guys I grew up watching and working with someone like Jason Hathaway and the whole EHR team, they were all super welcoming and made me feel right at home running something I’m not used to. We had a great car, got pushed around a bit but managed to salvage a 5th and 6th place finish. To battle with the best of the best in the NASCAR Canada Series was super fun and gotta thank everyone who supports me and partners that jumped on board for this race. Bell Battles Adversity on Way to Podium Finish at CTMP

Stouffville, Ontario – September 3rd, 2025 – This past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, rookie driver Connor Bell impressed fans and competitors alike in just his second NASCAR Canada Series start, piloting the #3 Dymon/Komcan/East Rock Chevrolet.

Bell opened the weekend on Saturday by posting the 11th fastest time in practice, steadily gaining confidence on the high-speed road course. He backed it up in qualifying, securing the 11th starting position for Sunday’s main event.

After the drop of the green flag, Bell’s Day took an unexpected turn as a clutch failure developed early in the race. Despite the setback, the team quickly adjusted strategy to keep the #3 machine competitive. Showcasing determination and adaptability, Bell navigated through the field and fought his way to a remarkable 2nd-place finish, his worst finish yet in the NASCAR Canada Series.

Bell was pretty proud of the Team’s result. ““Another weekend for the history books with EHR at CTMP. Some misfortune on Saturday had us starting in 11th for the 51 lap race, but with some perfectly timed strategy calls we worked our way up to the front and secured a 2nd place finish for the team. I can’t thank the team enough for another great car all weekend long, our partners for making this all possible and all the friends and family for supporting. Can’t wait to get back in the seat for 2026!”

LESSARD RETURNS TO THE NASCAR CANADA SERIES AND SCORES P4 AT GP3R

Stouffville – ON – August 13, 2025 – Raphael Lessard made a strong return with the EHR team to the cockpit of the #7 Lions 3 Riveres/XPN machine this past weekend at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, delivering an impressive drive through the field to finish just shy of the podium in the NASCAR Canada Series event.

Lessard opened the weekend with speed, placing 8th in final practice. After making adjustments to the car, he improved his pace in qualifying to secure a 7th place starting position. Unfortunately, a part change following qualifying forced the team to start from the rear of the field.

Undeterred, Lessard showcased his talent and determination as he methodically worked his way forward through the competitive field on the challenging street course. By the closing laps, he had climbed all the way into 4th place, narrowly missing a top-three finish.

Lessard said “Great weekend at the GP3R with EHR. We had a solid car all weekend, starting last made it way more difficult for us but we still ended with a great 4th place finish wish is really good considering only having 33 laps under green. Hopefully we get to do it again. Also thank you to the Lions of Trois-Rivières for the support.”
